We nodigen jullie allemaal uit om deel te nemen aan een inspirerende en boeiende Q&A-sessie over Queer art met de getalenteerde kunstenaar Laxmi Manuela. De Q&A wordt geleid door Daniël Bouw, hoofd marketing en communicatie bij Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. Dit evenement is bedoeld om een open en inclusieve ruimte te creëren waarin we kunnen praten over de impact en betekenis van queer street art, en om meer te leren over de kunstenaar zelf.

Laxmi Manuela is een gepassioneerde kunstenaar, straatartiest uit Rotterdam. Haar werk draait vaak om thema’s die geassocieerd worden met taboes en de empowerment van vrouwen. Om de aandacht voor haar werk verder te versterken maakt ze ook grootschalige murals, nationaal en internationaal. Met haar kunst onderzoekt ze de verschillen tussen culturen. Met het vertalen van haar gevoel naar kunst, gaat ze om met belangrijke ervaringen zoals liefde, seksualiteit en verlies.

We moedigen jullie allemaal aan om vragen voor te bereiden en actief deel te nemen aan deze Q&A-sessie. Dit is een kans om meer te weten te komen over queer street art en om direct in contact te komen met een inspirerende kunstenaar zoals Laxmi.

Laxmi Manuela is a passionate artist and street artist from Rotterdam. Her work often revolves around themes associated with taboos and the empowerment of women. To further amplify the attention for her work, she also creates large-scale murals nationally and internationally. Through her art, she explores the differences between cultures and translates her feelings into her work, addressing important experiences such as love, sexuality, and loss.

We encourage all of you to prepare questions and actively participate in this Q&A session. This is an opportunity to learn more about queer street art and directly engage with an inspiring artist like Laxmi.
